ABOUT TERRY GIPSON

Terry Gipson launched Gipson Design Group in 2006 and served
as Principal Designer until November 2012, when he was
elected to the New York State Senate. Terry formerly
served as Senior Design Director for MTV Networks Special Events
and as a Designer for Rockwell Architecture in New York City.
Terry joined the Department of Communication Faculty at SUNY
New Paltz in 2016 and the Communications Faculty at
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2019, teaching as a
Lecturer at both until 2022. Currently, Terry is a member of
the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for Harvard University where
he teaches public speaking and other communication courses.
